This is an important meeting for you. During your complimentary session with the coach you will have the opportunity to gauge whether there is a connection and if they “get you”. The coach will ask questions and probe to see exactly what your main “pain points” and issues may be. Once identified, this knowledge will enable them to be more precise in targeting the steps needed to deliver up your results.
Another key aspect of this meeting is helping you define the low hanging fruit or quick wins to get you focused and motivated.
2. Assess Where Your Business Is Now
A base from which you can spring from needs to be established. Your coach will ask you questions about your current planning, marketing, operations, employee management, systems, financial health and perceived barriers to progress. Next your coach will review your financial figures, KPIs, Marketing materials, sales process, customer service and team management.
Yes, we know, that’s a lot of digging! It is necessary though. This comprehensive analysis will enable your coach to identify and prioritise the best return on investment for your time and effort.
3. Define Your Vision And Goals
This is where you will project your ideal future on the screen of your mind. Where do you see your business in the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve financially, personally and community wise? Next comes your values and beliefs. What sort of culture do you want to see existing in your business?
Will you still be in the same location or will you be housed in larger facilities somewhere else? What new products and services will you be selling and to whom? All these questions will be worked through.
4. Work Together With Your Accountability Partner
Together, you and your coach will work your plan in delivering your goals. Part of setting your goals involves identifying what measurements will be monitored to confirm whether you are tracking to plan. These metrics form a key function during your coaching sessions in indicating your progress. Your coach will not pull punches when it comes to keeping you on track…after all, that’s what you expect – your best interests being served.
Your sessions with your coach can be conducted either online, face to face or a mixture of the two. It’s about the least disruption to you and your time.
